1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OilSignal ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users including visitors, free tier users, Pro subscribers, and Auto tier subscribers.

2. Not Financial Advice

OilSignal is a technology platform that provides automated technical analysis signals based on publicly available market data. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planning firm. Nothing on OilSignal constitutes:

• Investment advice or recommendations
• A solicitation to buy or sell any security
• A guarantee of any financial return
• Professional financial, legal, or tax advice

All trading decisions are made solely by you. OilSignal bears no responsibility for any trading losses incurred.

3. Subscription Services

OilSignal offers three subscription tiers:

• Free — Dashboard access and watching signals at no charge
• Pro ($39/month) — Full signal access with SMS, email, and push notifications
• Auto ($999/month) — Automated trade execution via IBKR integration

All subscriptions are billed monthly and may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

4. Auto Trading Tier

The Auto tier integrates with Interactive Brokers (IBKR) to execute trades automatically. By enabling auto-trading you acknowledge:

• You authorize OilSignal to place trades on your behalf through your connected brokerage account
• All trades are executed at your risk and with your capital
• OilSignal does not guarantee the profitability of any automated trade
• You are responsible for maintaining sufficient funds in your brokerage account
• You may disable auto-trading at any time through your settings
• OilSignal is not liable for losses resulting from automated trade execution, including technical failures, market gaps, or connectivity issues

5. Signal Accuracy

OilSignal's signals are generated by automated algorithms analyzing technical indicators including RSI, Fibonacci retracement levels, and moving averages. These signals are mathematical outputs based on historical price data. We make no representation that signals will be accurate, timely, or profitable. Signal accuracy varies by market conditions and is not guaranteed.

6. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account, resell access, or use the Service for any unlawful purpose. You must be at least 18 years of age to use OilSignal.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OilSignal and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages including but not limited to trading losses, loss of profits, or data loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice. We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
